Taman Wisata Bumi Kedaton (Bumi Kedaton Park) is located seven kilometers from the center of Bandar Lampung, precisely in Batuputu, Teluk Betung Barat. It's a cool temperate area famous for the fresh fruits. We can feel the forest atmosphere on both sides of the road to this park.
This park is more like a zoo since it has got a number of animals such as yellow-crested cockatoo (Cacatua galerita), hornbills (Buceros rhinoceros), porcupines (Hystrix brachyura), gibbons (Hylobates syndactylus), cassowary (Casuarius casuarius), sun bears (Helarctos malayanus), estuarine crocodiles (Crocodylus porosus), peacocks (Pavo cristatus), various types of snakes, etc. However, in this park some facilities are also available such as traditional house of Lampung, cottages with panoramic valleys and hills perfect for relaxing, and outbond area. The park is also crossed by a river with clean and cool water.
The visitors of Taman Wisata Bumi Kedaton are mostly families and students. Usually, this place is more crowded with visitors on Sundays or holidays.
